Back to Attractions

This is an exciting time for the two of you and the advise and assistance of the friendly people of the Turks and Caicos Islands will ensure that the most meaningful day of your life is a memorable one.

The pristine beaches, deserted cays, refreshing breezes and the happy friendly people of the Turks and Caicos Islands make up the perfect ‘destination weeding’.

If you have a specific date in mind for your wedding it is advisable to make a special request in writing to the Registrar prior to your arrival. There is a residency period of at least 48 hours before making an application to the Registrar General for a Turks and Caicos Marriage License. Please be aware that weddings can take place at any time after the marriage license application has been granted. Processing of license takes 2 to 3 days.

The application fee is $100.00, which must accompany the application, plus $20.00 for a registered copy of your marriage certificate.

The application for the Turks and Caicos Marriage License must be made by a Marriage Officer (usually a local minister, Justice of the Peace or Registrar). All ORIGINAL documents must be presented to the Turks and Caicos Registrar of Marriages by the person completing the forms.
